Midnight Club: Street Racing

Nighttime underground street arcade racing in New York City and London. You are a cab driver who is bored and looking for work. When you meet your first challenger and are invited to Midnight Club, call other on their cell phones and challenge them to a race around town. The winner receives the loser’s car. Most challengers have better wheels than you, so strategy and cunning are essential if you want to move up the ladder. Both Manhattan and London are depicted accurately. Take a lap around Madison Square Garden. Step onto Intrepid’s deck. Down the West Side Highway, through Battery Park City, and up FDR Drive. Aside from career mode, you can also play Capture the Flag or race in multiplayer mode. Because Angel used the Smuggler’s Run engine, the gameplay, feel, and mechanics are similar.
