Raylight Studios, an Italian firm, developed a tech demo of Resident Evil 2 for the GameBoy Advance in 2003. The purpose of the demo was to demonstrate the capabilities of the Blue Roses engine. Capcom turned down the proposal because, by this point, the company had lost interest in the possibility of GameBoy conversions becoming successful.
