You may be a motocross obsessive if your obsession with the sport is so intense that it borders on pathological. You get to choose one of six different racers; each is endowed with their own set of unique powers to help them get through the challenges of the race. The courses have several jumps, hills, and other obstacles that are ideal for doing stunts, and there are four distinct game modes to choose from, including Race, Time Attack, Action, and the notorious Link Battle. You are responsible for providing the connection cables and any additional cartridges, and connection Battle allows four players to compete against one another for bragging rights. Throughout the race, you should make an effort to collect nitro power so that you can increase the peak speed of your bike, place bombs, and fire missiles continuously. The game combines first-rate racing with aspects of battle, and it comes loaded with secret courses and power-ups to keep the stakes as high as possible. The visuals are so impressive that you’ll forget you’re playing on a handheld platform. The long-running MOTOCROSS MANIACS video game series has produced several excellent titles, but this one stands out as the finest.
